ABOUT

Looking for a working band... or other mature musicians form an original/ cover project. I'm a singer /songwriter/guitar player. Have gigged extensively but had to get a "real" job to pay the bills. Life is tooo short... time to get back to what I do best. Tried to post some original tracks here but was unsuccessful. I have some tracks posted on "SoundCloud". Charles Butler-Grace... one three ought 6 8Seven fore seven11 too...
The genre list is limited and so the list of influences is not really accurate (see below) and in fact I would find it difficult to define what it I want to create. I listen to a wide range of music from Debussy to ZZ Top.

Influences

ZZ Top, Clapton, Neil Young, Santana, Pink Floyd, SRV, John Hiatt, John Prine, Chaka Khan etc...Music from many eras and many genres. Not locked into one specific "time period" but I do tend to favor 60's 70's Rock. Yet I was raised on country... go figure. Open to exploring other "styles". Feel pulled toward Jazz and Latin though it would be a stretch to suggest I could pull this off effortlessly. Would like very much to share the vocal/writing/arranging tasks...
I am a reasonable guitar player yet I would like to share the Lead/ Rhythym position with another guitar player...
