ABOUT

Hello!

I'm Mike, a 28-year-old rhythm guitar player and vocalist based in East Gwillimbury, near Newmarket.

Current band members are 28, 40 and 60. We practice weekly or bi-weeklyin Bradford, until we have our setlist perfect then we can slow it down a bit.

I'm on the lookout for fellow musicians who share a love for good music, and are looking to gig once a month in Newmarket, Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Bradford, Innisfil, Stouffville, or Barrie.

Right now, we have myself on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. My wife Amanda is on harmony vocals. An awesome bass player who also adds vocals. And a rockin drummer who can also sing! We are quite strong vocally. My goal is to put together a cover band for enjoyable jam sessions and some gigs here and there. Mix of old and new country and southern rock.

Both Amanda and I have full-time jobs, so we're not chasing fame or taking things ultra-seriously.

Instruments we're currently seeking:

- Lead guitar player and chickin picker.
- Piano / Keyboard for rhythm and lead.
- Fiddle player
- Pedal Steel player

Who we’re looking for
- Age is just a number (anywhere between 25 and 80 works for us) what matters most is your love for music! Our current band members are 28, 40, and 60 years old.

- You have patience and are willing to put in some work upfront. Once we have the songs down we can just effortlessly play and gig.

- You have a positive and friendly attitude.

- You are aligned with the goals of the band listed above

- You're a dedicated fan of country and southern rock music. You're willing to play a song you don't love to get the crowd going.

- While you don't need to be a music theory expert, you can confidently read chord charts and quickly pick up new songs.

- Timing and rhythm is not an issue for you.

- You understand the nuances of phrasing – knowing when to play soft, loud and crescendo

- You're not learning your instrument for the first time; you already know how to play well.
