Hello Big Hearted, Well Intentioned Musicians
We are seeking a bass player, a keyboard player and vocalists for our house band at Canada's largest homeless shelter - the Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre.
Since 2010, we have been providing a live musical performance, every Friday, to our vulnerable, struggling clients. The room is large, the sound system is excellent and the audience is appreciative -- 400+ people, every show.
The program is called ArtBeat and most of our performances are provided by local professionals who volunteer a 60 minute set. For 2015, we are starting a house band that will practice once per week and play once per month.

FYI, we will be practicing on Saturdays each week and performing on Friday afternoons, monthly. We will start rehearsing in January and will have our first performance in February. The commitment we ask for is until the end of June.
