ABOUT

Female blues keyboard player/songwriter/vocalist/guitar. Have been playing all my life, by ear since age 4 and some childhood piano classical training. Jammed in the U.S.A. with Point Blank band in San Francisco (1973). Some on stage experience with various country rock and blues bands in Calgary, AB - Canada - (1984- 1995) - (Sundowners, Jailhouse Rock and Roll Band, Tracker and Dolly Dagger) and sat in on some legendary King Eddy Hotel jam sessions (Sam Lay, B.B. Jones, Philip Walker). Recorded original demo at Daniel Lanois studio in Ancaster, Ontario (1973) with Daniel Lanois. More original songs recorded (2000-2013) at EK Sound in Calgary and 2014-2018 Bowtown Music Studios with Kuba Suttles as potential soundtrack for a movie script I have written "Go Back Jack". I'm a published author of a book by the same name (2018). I'm on YouTube and with Stagehand Booking, was involved with the Steven Avenue Live performances of 2019. I have used bongos, congas, harmonica and acoustic guitar. Recently acquired new lightweight Roland VR09 keyboard and Martin Junior guitar and have been busking in Calgary LRT Stations (primarily Marlborough) the past several years alone and with others. I am looking for musicians of any age but especially those over 50 who have the time and opportunity to devote to music and interested in occasional duo busking in LRT stations - no commitments and share any tips - but bookings and bands considered. Get in touch!
