I have a Music Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Percussion Performance.
I have certificates in the following disciplines from The Royal Conservatory of Music:
--gr. 9 piano
--gr. 6 pipe organ
--university level theory, analysis & ear training.
I have performed in many community and semi-professional orchestras, concert bands, rock bands, church groups, choral groups, percussion ensembles and too many others to list.
Notables: played drums for the Four Lads (Northern Ontario tour), and played venues around Ontario with Blue Rye.
Played percussion for Jubilance Singers and Orchestra on an 8 week tour of Europe.
I read & write music.
Currently, I am the Percussion Coordinator for the North Bay Symphony Orchestra and am an import for the Timmins Symphony Orchestra; am a founding member and played for The Hosts for 12 years, but have now stepped back from that group;
now working with Night Ryders.

Drumset: Pearl 5 pc, 9-ply maple with chrome snare. Remo pinstripe batters with ebony resonant heads.
4-Pearl maple rack toms. Pinstripe batters, no bottom heads.
Many different high-hats, rides, crash cymbals, splashes, a Chinese & a gong.

I have a studio sound system big enough to do the mains up to a medium size hall, including a 16-channel Mackie, unpowered board, with digital recording out; 2-Behringer Eurolive B115D, 1000W self-powered speakers, various mics.

CALENDAR

Playing percussion for NBSO, while joined by Ontario native and mezzo-soprano, Rachel Wood, for an evening of late 19th-century masterworks.

Night Ryders is sharing the stage with The County in a fun'filled evening of musical entertainment featuring country, classic rock and a bit of blues at the Elk's Club in North Bay.
