Influences
Lauren's great inspiration was and continues to be her grandfather Charlie Mayell (1925 - 2005) who performed for many years in Stirling and Belleville Ontario on many of the Trent Valley Jamborees. Charlie was on the first jamboree in 1966 and continued to perform until 2003. You will note that Lauren still performs with her grandpa's country belt "Pure Country".
