About
I'm a professional singer/songwriter, pianist & producer from London, UK, and I'm looking to put together an all female band for an exciting project based in the Mississauga/Toronto area. I play piano and sing and am looking for a full rhythm section (guitar, bass & drums, plus possible keys/pads, horns) and backing vocals.
I am a published song writer who's been performing extensively on the London UK circuit, with commercial hits ready to go, and I want to create something special and unique... an all female multi-cultural/interfaith band to perform/record the songs.
The songs currently in the pipleline are commercial social/ethical, and some spiritual, with subject matter that I hope everyone can relate to. Once the band is on the go with the current material, we would be looking at the possibility of co-writing new songs, so creative input in a writing sense could happen at a later date.
The idea is to perform on a regular basis in the Toronto area, drawing media attention and sponsorship, and releasing an album. We would be promoting peace and unity and ultimately be aiming to bring people together on common ground, in a cool collective way.
This is a serious long-term project. We will be starting locally and eventually developing something on an global scale.
