ABOUT

I took private drum lessons for four years in Vancouver, B.C., and joined the Westwinds Blue Concert Band percussion section in 2005. I was a percussionist in Silver Concert Band until 2008, and rejoined the band in 2011/2012.

From 2007 until 2012, I was in Westwinds Summer Jazz and played drumset in that big band at the Barbecue on the Bow mainstage for three summers.

In 2009, I joined the Jazz-niks Big Band and had numerous performances with them. In June 2010 played on the mainstage at the annual Bow Valley Blow Out Festival, Canmore with the Jazz-niks.

I kicked off 2011 with six performances in Cappuccino Musical Theatre fundraiser as a Show Band drummer. Back with the Jazz-niks, I played at another fundraiser for the Calgary Association of Lifelong Learners.

I have been in Westwinds Silver Jazz band for four years now. I have played at the Ironwood and Black Swan several times with the big band.
