I am looking towards starting a band from scratch,(4 to 5 piece) that sounds like whatever everyone included is into(preferably along the lines of any punk genre but dont really care)for fun/hobby/maybe eventually profesionaly. Iam 22 and I live in newmarket ON. i have lived here for about 15 months, this is my PERMANENT place of residence, i moved here from glasgow, scotland (my singing voice is a little unique compared to the other local singers) i have not been professionally trained but i have been in a band before but didn't ever throw a gig. I have written a lot of songs in the past but i like to write songs based on the theme of whatever band i would be in. I have limited guitar and bass skills but have no wish to play them for a band. My favorite bands are new found glory, green day, anything affiliated with blink 182, taking back sunday, silverstein and a lot of local punk bands that play in glasgow. Although i have no wish to sound like these bands as i would much more prefer to create a unique style.
