Hello all winnipeg bands and musicians. IS there not any serious bands out there in need of a good guitarist?..I'm a 27 year old, twenty years in, lead/rhythm guitarist/vocalist with years of stage and recording experience. I have been in winnipeg for close to a year and a half and I haven't really found a solid group. So far I have played with a few groups in winnipeg as well as doing my own solo acoustic act at places like Tavern United's, Breezy Bend G&C, The Nob. With bands I have played Mybar,ZOO, The Pal,Dylans(Portage&Pembina). I like to play rock/alternative/progressive/blues but can play just about anything. I'm not so into country or metal but I still mess around in those genre's a little...I would like to find an original group that wants to do more than just the home circuit or gig twice a month. As I said before I'm also a vocalist, I could share lead vocals or be a solid back-up. TOO Much to list. Older classic rock such as Jimi, Zepplin, Floyd, Stones, BTO, C.C.R, April Wine, Dire Straits, Steelers Wheel, Ozzy and Def leppard. Newer rock/alternative such as Alice In Chains, Buck Cherry, Creed, Nickleback, STP, Audioslave, Finger 11, Jet, Lenny Kravitz, The Killers, Sublime and Rob Zombie and a touch of progressive Steve Vai and even a little pop or R'n'b we are well diversified..
