ABOUT

I am coming from France, and arrived in Canada (Kingston, ON) at the beginning of Feb. 2013.

I started learning the guitar at the age of 5, started with classical guitar, and at the age of 10 I started electric guitar. I love both acoustic (nylon or steel) and electric guitar.

Back there in France I used to play lead as well as rythm guitar (acoustic and electric) in a pop/rock/variety cover band. I also played bass and guitar in a jazz quartet, played lead guitar in a heavy metal band.

I also taught the guitar in three different schools of music (to pay for my studies in university).

I have a strong live experience (more than 150 live gigs, with crowd up to more than 500 people).

Influences

Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Eagles, Radiohead, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Bob Dylan, U2, Muse... I listen basically to every styles of music, but as a player, I think I am more of a pop/rock guitar player rather than metal.

I used to play very technical things (Van Halen kind of things), but now I think more of the right note to the right place (Gilmour or Knopfler). I am not the kind of guy who will put a solo as soon as he can, but I prefer help a song getting an atmosphere (by adding some parts, effects).
