Influences

Jamaican born Elvis Cashley immigrated to Canada from Jamaica in 1994, bringing with him a unique style of reggae with a fast-paced tempo blending with reggae roots.

Cashley began singing in his church choir and broke out professionally in 1998 singing reggae and rap beats underground with SWATteam in Edmonton, AB. When the group broke up, Julz Ulyano and Cashley created BlitzBeatz. BlitzBeatz studio is well known in Edmonton for creating professional rap beats that have been on many rap chart albums. From there on, the duo opened for acts in Edmonton, such as Pitbull, Snoop, K-ci and Jojo, Beanie Man, and Nas amongst many more.

In 2008, Cashley moved out to Vancouver to further his music and acting career.
