Electric Empress + Band in Victoria, BC

ABOUT

Formed in late August 2008 when 4 guys with a love of all things rock came together in a jam space in Victoria, B.C. After jamming for a few months and writing a few songs, they decided to look for singer to complete the line up, but the Empress had something else in mind. After searching for a singer for close to a year to no prevail, drummer Justin stepped up to the plate and gave it a go and Electric Empress have been going strong ever since. With their first show in mid-Sept. 2009 they have played most of the major venues in the city a few times over, including: Lucky Bar, Logan's Pub, Evolution, Rehab, Felicita's, The Cambie, Victoria Events Center, UVIC Visual Arts Center, as well as Pub 340 in Vancouver. They have recently finished their demo, recorded and mixed at Big City Sound by Matt Tucker and mastered by Myke Hall. It's been quite a productive year for this fine young lads and they're just getting warmed up. Known for their explosive, exciting and unpredictable live shows and breaking it down, building it up and kicking out the jams where ever and whenever possible, Electric Empress has been winning over rock 'n' roll conosieurs one by one, leaving their ear drums ringing for days and a craving for more of that neo-rock!
