Hello, I'm looking to join a metal band as a vocalist and/or produce rap with someone.
Have written tons of raps, very competent with large rhyme schemes, have been changing my lyrical content to be more positive and empowering to the listener because reciting negative sh*t every night is not beneficial to my life path. It's not exactly sunshine and rainbows but it's a lot more optimistic than before.
The rhyming would come in handy with metal I just need help with the pacing as lyrics and rhymes are more subtle and spaced apart with metal.
I haven't been able to practice singing cuz I don't have a house to myself anymore but I could be singing and screaming decently within a couple weeks of having a regular place to practice. Rap inflection benefits from the vocal warm ups I used to do but it is not a necessity in the same way.
