ABOUT

My desire to sing stemmed from the interest towards Country and Gospel music that my parents introduced me to. Before then I would challenge my voice and overall influence on others at karaokes. The general critique that I recieved from my listeners was positive, and although this was the usual response to my singing, I continue to push myself in exploring my own voice. Since then I went on to write my own songs in the country and gospel genre, released my first demo album which was played on MBC, and performed at various group gatherings that featured other northern talent. I was also recently featured on the voices of the North showcase.

I would like to mention that, regardless of my history of performing gospel, please don't allow that to sway your opinion on considering me as your possible singer. My voice is versatile and strong.

I'm confindent in my ability as a singer and willing to explore other styles of music. One day I will be a part of a band that will entice the listening pleasure of many people. Influences

My influences in terms of vocals come from a wide range of music styles. In regards to my love of country, Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam, Charlie Major,Randy Owen, Henry Paul, as well as many various local artists such as Ernest Monias, Carl Crane, etc, all contributed to my particular country style. In regards to rock influences, Marshal Crenshaw, Ramon McGuire, Tony Lewis, and most notably Michael Poulsen of Volbeat. Local bands such as Just The Boys, New Horizon, Black Rain, Derek Maurice, John J Cook have all also increased my interest.
