An Ottawa-Valley musician-entertainer with extensive experience in a wide variety of music genres including: Jazz, Dixie, Swing, Jump, Latin, and Rock and Roll. Bruce can be seen playing all of the Saxes from Baritone to Soprano and occasionally handling vocal or keyboard duties as well. Bruce is a formally trained musician equally comfortable reading charts or playing by ear.

Influences
Anything and everything from the hard driving swing and riffing’ sounds of Louis Jordon, Cab Calloway, Benny Goodman, to the orchestrations of Maynard Ferguson, Ellington, Arty Shaw and Woody Herman. Saxophone influences are a little harder to pin down but clearly Junior Walker, King Curtis, and Stan Getz, played a role in shaping Bruce’s sound. Other musical influences would include Blood Sweat and Tears, Chicago, Tower of Power and Joe Jackson.
