WANTED: Keyboards or second guitar for new rock/prog original band
This is a new project from the ground up that has been coming together over the last year.
We now have a solid core of 4 members: vocals, guitar, bass, and drums, in our 30’s and 40’s.
We would like to add another sonic layer that differs from a typical guitar.
We think keyboards fit that role well, but another guitar might also fit if that guitar creates a more atmospheric, or effects driven landscape. Or that second guitar is adept at complimenting other guitar lines. Or someone that does a bit of both keys and guitar.
We are moving forward writing new originals.
Some influences that describe our approach are: Foo Fighters, QOTSA, Mars Volta, Porcupine Tree
We have a fully stocked studio close to downtown Victoria.
Short to medium term goals include, writing new material, playing live shows, recording material for release, small scale touring.
We all have day jobs but do take our time with this project seriously.
