So, this thing started as just myself, Benny Shears. I've been working at the art of songwriting and singing for ages, but I realized last fall that I'd have to work harder and expand myself even more to get anywhere. After a year of hard work on guitar and music theory, I'm ready. I've signed myself up for a battle of the bands in September for a kick into gigging in my new formation.

I've gotten my bassist friend, Billy Razor, in on the action. We work together to feed each other ideas and turn the songs I bring to the table into something that's all of ours. I'm not looking for session musicians, I'm looking for partners. My idolized way of songwriting is the early Beatles way of doing everything, songs come to the table and everyone adds their own ideas to the mix. I want to keep that feeling going.

We need a solid drummer who's not afraid to liven up the rhythms while we work the rest of the stage. We're also perhaps looking for someone to run keyboards to share rhythm/lead responsibilities with the 6-string strapped around my neck. Any other vocal abilities are welcome as well as I'm a fan of melody sharing and harmonies.
