As a singer/songwriter, I challenge myself to write innovative and melodic songs with meaningful lyrics on anything from personal relationships and experiences to the larger public sphere of politics and social justice. My aim is to leave listeners with images that last long after the tune has ended. My road to music composition began when I studied piano and voice as a child, and I now find myself with the beginnings of a catalogue of music that spans genres from pop to folk to country.
