Looking to get something different going in the area. I hear alot of Hard rock, Blues, and Classic Rock and Alternative at the bars all the time, all of which I really enjoy but, I would like to get something going that is a little more alt-country, folky and Americana happening. Some examples of the sounds I'm talking about are more along the lines of Counting Crows, Wilco, Jayhawks, Ray Lamontage. I would like to not only cover some of these bands but find other musicians to collaborate in some original material eventually.
