Hi, I actually started playing gigs when I was 15 in a death metal band, I have chilled out a bit since then... Although I enjoyed it immensely !
I love chords! and have developed over the years a bright and clear, floaty but direct, melodious somewhat jazzy style.. ?!?!
I play with standard tuning (mostly) although a friend says it doesn't sound like it...

I was bought up on vinyl, and listen to the wonderful music from singer song writers such as Paul Simon, James Taylor, John Martyn, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, J.J Cale... to melodious harmony groups such as Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Eagles, Seals & Crofts, Steely Dan,
Others including more recent musicians - Ray Lamontagne, Fleet foxes, Feist, Xavier Rudd, Peirre Bensusan, Eric Whitacre, to name but a few!
EQUIPMENT
I am from England but I am currently visiting my brother here in Canada so I have a hollow body electric which sounds beautiful! and a small amp, which buzzes, slightly, however this doesn't affect my playing.
