Looking to start or join a prog or funk band. Mainly looking to write and play originals but good to intermix covers as well. Would be hoping to perform at local gigs and to record a proper album with raised funds (not looking to tour).
I've been playing music for 10+ years in various band and improv settings.
I mainly play bass (slap and finger) and alto sax (generally I'll loop bass), but I also love playing improv piano/ keys in a 'prog' setting).
Have an amateur recording studio setup in my basement, though I dont really like mixing. Can host practices since I've got an ekit setup/ enough basement space.
I've mixed/ released one song on spotify (Winning-Pompous Tortoise, Rock Opera/ Funk genre).
Part way finished releases can be found on social media under the band Midnight Shift (youtube should have a few things).
